2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 74, 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per prosecution case, informant was married

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23941 of 2025(2) dt.30-04-2025 2/3 with co-accused Anil Pandey on 17.02.2021 and thereafter, it is alleged that these petitioners along with other F.I.R. named accused persons tortured and harassed informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of car as dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner No. 2 is mother-inlaw, petitioner No. 3 is married sister-in-law and petitioner No. 4 is married brother-in-law of the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and they are not concerned with family affairs of the couple. They are simply victims of overimplication. Moreover, thrust of accusation is against husband of the informant. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the fact that thrust of accusation is against husband of the informant, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with
