The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Brahampur P.S. Case No. 598 of 2018 (CIS-EXCISE-no. 07/19) dated 31.12.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a)/47 of Bihar Excise (Prohibition) Amendment Act, 2018.

It appears that 25.920 litres of liquor was recovered from three motorcycles. The petitioner appears to have been identified by the local Chowkidar. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no recovery from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2019.

No.25939 of 2020(2) dt.12-10-2020 2/2 Considering the aforestated facts the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge- 2nd -cum-Special Judge, (Excise), Buxar in connection with Brahampur P.S. Case No. 598 of 2018 (CIS-EXCISE-no. 07/19).
