The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of appropriate writ(s) thereby calling upon the Respondent Bank to make available the petitioner the copy of the complete merit list indicating his merit position in UR Category along with others for the appointment on the post of peon (ClassIV Post) for Saran District in the respondent bank as the process of document verification is still under

Patna High Court CWJC No.8043 of 2023(2) dt.28-11-2023 2/2 development and suitable candidate under unreserved category is yet to be selected as per the information supplied to the petitioner by the respondent bank in their reply dated 21.07.2022 and 22.08.2022.

(ii) For consequently direction upon the respondent to consider the petitioner's case for appointment as peon in UR Category for the District of Saran, Bihar as he fulfills all the eligibility criteria as per the advertisement dated 22.02.2021 published by the respondent bank."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Head, Punjab National Bank, Muzaffarpur Division, Aghoria Bazar, Muzaffarpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
