JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 22-06-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to satisfy this Court with the averments made in the writ application that because of a mistake in the year of the registration of the petitioner with the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (hereinafter referred to as the 'University'), he was debarred from appearing in several government examinations.

Despite repeated opportunity granted to learned counsel for the petitioner to take name of one government examination in which he was debarred, learned counsel is unable to inform this Court even with regard to one

For this reason, this Court believes that the writ application has been filed by making casual statements without there being any material to support the same. In the aforesaid view of the matter, this Court would not direct any action against the officials as prayed for.

In case the petitioner represents before the Registrar of the University (Respondent No. 4) within a period of 30 days from today to carry on a correction with regard to the year of his registration number with the University, the same will be considered and necessary rectification shall be carried out within next 60 days. Since the mistake seems to have committed by the University, it must be rectified by the University without burdening the petitioner with any cost/charges. This application stands disposed of.
