====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 26-11-2021 Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No.05 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2021 and he is a person with clean antecedents, charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. The allegation as alleged in the F.I.R. by the informant is of recovery of 754.56 litres of foreign liquor from Tata 407 vehicle.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2021 and he is a person with clean antecedents, charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka in connection with Excise Complaint Case No.05 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
