The petitioner is aggrieved by relaying of electric line in the Village of which he is a resident, which is allegedly crossing overhead of the residence of the dwelling structure of the petitioner. A representation for change of alignment/removal of electric wire was made before the respondent no. 2 & 4 the Executive Electric Engineer, Sitamarhi, and the Assistant Electrical Engineer, Bairganiya, Sitamarhi, respectively, but no attention was paid.

It is averred that continuance of live electric wire over the building is dangerous to life and the respondent(s) are
Patna High Court CWJC No.16103 of 2013 (4) dt.13-05-2016 legally obliged to realign the electric wire or shift electric wire. 4.
In my opinion, the writ application deserves to be disposed of by permitting the petitioner to raise a grievance before respondent-Assistant Electrical Engineer, who shall consider such representation, make a spot verification, if deemed necessary and take remedial steps as provided in law as quickly as possible preferably within five (05) weeks' of such filing of the representation/application along with a copy of the present order.
The writ application stands disposed of with aforesaid observations.
