19-01-2017 On call, none appeared on behalf of petitioner either to press the petition or to make a prayer for adjournment. Sri Kumar Alok, learned Standing Counsel - 7 submits that in the writ petition, there is no substance for interference. He submits that petitioner has claimed appointment on compassionate ground. The father of the petitioner died long back and after his death, with the consent of mother of the petitioner, petitioner's sister was appointed on compassionate ground and she is continuing. Now, the petitioner is claiming for his appointment on the ground that he was the eldest son. He accepts that at the time of appointment of his sister, he had not raised objection in the year 2012.

Be that as it may, since none appeared on behalf of petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J.) Anay U
