Mr. Sajid Salim Khan, SC-25 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-04-2019 Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned. The petitioner wants his land to be demarcated, which he had purchased in the year 1984. There are other persons who also have purchased the land in the same plot and disputes are arising among them over their respective boundaries. Learned Counsel on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had approached the Circle Officer, Daniyawan, requesting him to get the land demarcated way back in July, 2018, but nothing has been done so far. The nature of grievance which the petitioner is raising in the present writ application undisputedly falls under the Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as

Patna High Court CWJC No.7025 of 2019(2) dt.15-04-2019 2/2 'the Act'). For resolution of such dispute, he has to make an application before the competent authority in accordance with the procedure prescribed under the Bihar Land Dispute Resolution Rules, 2010, framed under the said Act of 2009. This application is disposed of with the observation that the petitioner shall have the liberty to apply under appropriate provision of the Act for redressal of grievance. It goes without saying that if any application is made under the Act, the same shall be disposed of within the time stipulated under the Act.
