In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No. 96 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 47 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016. As per allegation made in the First Information Report, from the possession of the petitioner, five liters of country made liquor have been recovered.

The petitioner is in jail custody since 24.7.2016.
