This is an application for grant of regular bail for offences punishable under Sections 147, 447, 323, 379, 307, 247 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though the petitioner assaulted the informant's husband by means of Garasa, there is no repetition of blow and the injuries caused to the informant's husband are simple in nature. It has also been submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and has been languishing in judicial custody since 09.11.2016. Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides. In view of the fact that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55504 of 2016 (2) dt.23-12-2016 2/2 injuries caused to the husband of the informant are simple in nature and the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 09.11.2016, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M. West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Srinagar (Pujaha) P.S. Case No. 114 of 2015.
