Petitioner is in custody in connection with Gadhpura P.S.Case No.18 of 2020 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Having regard to the fact that huge quantity of liquor has been seized in course of the transaction for which the petitioner was apprehended, the Court is not inclined to grant bail. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected for the time being.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail on completion of one year in custody and there is no question of fixing one year time limit.
