Petitioners are compassionate appointees claiming

Patna High Court CWJC No.11211 of 2021(2) dt.11-11-2022 2/2 benefits in terms of order passed under various earlier decisions of this Court including the decision in LPA No 167 of 2016. The claim is for grant of scale of Rs 4,000 - 6,000/- instead of their existing scale of Rs 3,050 - 4,590/-.

Mr Prashant Sinha appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have filed a representation seeking the benefits in terms of earlier order of this Court, before the Chief Engineer II, Rural Works Department.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioners for consideration of the representation, learned State Counsel does not object to disposal of this writ petition for consideration before the Authority (Respondent No 5).

In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Chief Engineer II (Respondent No 5) to take a final decision on the petitioner's claim by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
