1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That, the present writ petition is for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs in nature of MANDAMUS for commanding and directing the respondents especially district administration, i.e., District Magistrate, Darbhanga, Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga and SubDivisional Officer, Biraul to provide protection to his life, personal liberty including property, which are the Constitutional rights granted under

Patna High Court CWJC No.5526 of 2023(2) dt.16-10-2023 2/2 Article 21 and Article 300(A) of the Constitution of India considering the right, title and possession upon Khata No. 990, Khesra No. 1499 Area 2 Dhur where his footwear shop was running after the settlement of aforesaid land and payment of rent to the Bihar State Board of Religious Trust but it was forcibly captured and disturbed by unsocial elements on point of muscle, man power and money ignoring title and possession upon the land in question as they were adamant to dispossesses without following procedure established by the law and for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled under the provision of law involved in the present case."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
