Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 435, 511, 386, 387, 120B, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act, Section 17 of C.L.A. Act and various sections of U.A.P.A Act.

Petitioner and two others were caught on the spot when they had gone to demand extortion money from Munshi of a construction company.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46838 of 2016 (3) dt.08-12-2016 2/2 bail in connection with Guraru P.S. Case No. 48 of 2016 pending in the court of Smt. Sarika Bahelia, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Gaya stands rejected.
