The petitioner seeks bail in Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 77/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47A of the Excise Act.

44 bottles of Bagpiper Whisky each containing 375 m.l. and 52 bottles of Bagpiper Whisky each containing 180 m.l. were recovered from the house of petitioner.

It appears that about 25 litres of Whisky was recovered from the house of the petitioner for that the petitioner is in jail since 18.11.2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54489 of 2016 (2) dt.12-01-2017 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -1, Gopalganj in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 77/2016.
