The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 255, 260, 262, 420, 467, 468, 471, 413 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The police has received an information that trucks were coming loaded with illegal coals without any valid paper whereupon the trucks were intercepted. Drivers were arrested. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner are Sur Chalak and other co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23964 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Pramod Kumar and Shivlal Mahto, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Sherghati in connection with Amas P.S. Case No.115 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
