02. 25.10.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that allegedly 81 litres of country-made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner while traveling in a bus. It is further contended that the petitioner is a lady. It is also contended that the petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2016 and she is having clean antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, namely, Rita Devi is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45672 of 2016 (2) dt.25-10-2016 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with G.O. Case No. 379 of 2016.
