The petitioner seeks bail in Aurai P.S. Case No. 103/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that from mobile no. 7808376822 a call was made on his mobile bearing no. 9934008603 and extortion was demanded.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. On mere suspicion the petitioner has been implicated in the case. The mobile which was recovered from the possession of the petitioner does not tally with the S.I.M. number or I.M.E.I. number of the mobile from which extortion was demanded.
