This application is for grant of bail in connection with C-I Case No.910 of 2016 for the offence under Section 30A read with Section 13 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the alleged recovery of 180 ltrs. of illegal wine was made from the house of the petitioner, who is a student but he is not the owner of the house. The petitioner is in custody for about three months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides. Considering quantity of liquor recovered from the possession of the petitioner, at this stage, I am

No.829 of 2017 (2) dt.02-02-2017 2/2 not inclined to grant bal to the petitioner, however, the learned court below is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months and if not concluded within the period, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court concerned, which will be decided considering detention of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
