Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 983 C of 2013 in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Taking into consideration that petitioner is husband of the complainant and there is specific and serious allegation against him, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 983 C of 2013 pending in the court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda stands rejected.
