At the instance of the Court, looking to the fact that a National Lok Adalat is to be held on 8th of July, 2017, the matter was initiated and the parties agreed for disposal of the appeal by enhancement of the compensation by a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/-(one lac) as full and final settlement of all the claims.
Patna High Court MA No.98 of 2013 (6) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 Accordingly the appeal is disposed of in terms of the following settlement before this Court. The Insurance Company shall pay a further sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- to the claimant in full and final settlement of all the claims. The amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Tribunal within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The amount so deposited shall be disbursed to the claimant. With the aforesaid settlement, the appeal stands disposed of.
