The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Katihar Town P.S.Case No. 164 of 2017 registered under Sections 302, 120-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence as also the fact that the informant has named the petitioner as one of the persons, who was seen fleeing away from the place of occurrence in which the father of the informant was killed, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
