The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No. 158 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased and he has no concern with the alleged occurrence. He never demanded any dowry and assaulted the deceased in any manner. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 13.04.2020.
