JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner and his accomplice committed rape on the informant, made video of the occurrence and continued to commit this offence on the threat of making the obscene video viral. Victim in her 164 Cr.P.C. statement has supported the prosecution case. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
