The petitioner is in custody since 25.08.2018 in connection with Suiya P.S. Case No. 28 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that admittedly, the occurrence took place on account of some intervention made by the petitioner in the quarrel which was ensuing between the petitioner and his two daughter-in-laws. It is further submitted that the injuries which are purported to have been inflicted by the petitioner have been found to be simple in nature and there is no intention to kill as there is no repetition of blow.

Case No. 28 of 2018.
