The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 2, 9, 39, 43, 44, 49(A), 49(B) and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 pending in the learned court below.

Petitioners and other co-accused persons were hunting a Nilgai near Pardeshiya Ghat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that one person was apprehended on the spot who disclosed the name of the petitioner. He further submits that for protecting the crops of farmers of the border

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court below, where the case is pending/Successor court, in connection with Forest Case No.05/2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
