The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Tr. No. 3100 of 2014 arising out of Complaint Case No. C15/2014 in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 498-A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been contended that the allegations made in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46473 of 2014 (3) dt.01-07-2015 2 / 2 complaint are false and neither the petitioner nor any of his family member had ever demanded any dowry or subjected the complainant to cruelty in respect of such demand. Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 vehemently opposes the prayer for bail.
Be that as it may, regard being had to the nature of accusation, the provisional anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 10.04.2015 in connection with Tr. No. 3100 of 2014 arising out of Complaint Case No. C-15 of 2014 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Sadar Motihari, East Champaran, is confirmed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.)
