The petitioner seeks bail in Pasraha P.S. Case No.28 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner was apprehended while driving the vehicle loaded with 297 litres of liquor.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that seizure list was not prepared in accordance with law. The petitioner is not the owner of the vehicle. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the vehicle. The petitioner is in jail since 20.03.2020 and he has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts that the petitioner has remained in jail for more than three months and he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21253 of 2020(2) dt.02-07-2020 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Khagaria in connection with Pasraha P.S. Case No.28 of 2020.
