The petitioner is accused in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 285 of 2015, registered under Section 323, 341, 324, 325, 304(B) and 365 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of killing of the daughter of the informant by her husband and other in-laws of the deceased due to non-fulfillment of demand of she buffalo as dowry and her dead body has been disposed of.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased, who was wife of the petitioner and daughter of the informant, died due to burn injury sustained by deceased in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.175 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 course of cooking meal. Thereafter, she was rushed for treatment at P.M.C.H. from there she was taken to Kolkata for better treatment where she died and the dead body was received by the informant and thereafter her last rites was performed in presence of husband of the informant on 29.04.2015, but with ulterior motive the complainant who is mother of the deceased filed the complaint case on 21.08.2015 on which basis the present case has been lodged. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 285 of 2015.
