Petitioner is husband and is facing accusations punishable under Section 498A of Indian Penal Code. This Court was inclined to reject the bail application, however, it has been pointed out by Counsel for the petitioner that earlier to this, the petitioner filed a Matrimonial Case bearing Matrimonial Case No. 191 of 2013 under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act and he is ready and willing to establish cordial relation with his wife and to keep her with dignity, love and affection.

This Court disposes of this application by the following order:-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43705 of 2014 (2) dt.10-04-2015 Let the petitioner make effort in this regard either in this proceeding or in the proceeding which is pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Samastipur. For a period of six weeks from today, he shall not be arrested in connection with present case (i.e. Complaint Case No. 968(C)/2013 (Tr. No. 2229/2014). Before expiry of six weeks, petitioner shall appear before the Court and apprise the Court below about the status of the conciliation/mediation steps which were taken. The learned Magistrate depending on the result of the conciliation/mediation proceedings taken, if any, will either confirm or reject the bail application.
