JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-09-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case instituted under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is of torturing the informant for non-fulfilment of additional demand of dowry. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is ready to keep the informant as his wife with full dignity and honour. It is also submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount of Rs. 1800/- per month in the court below, which may be released in favour of the informant.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 1800/- per month in the court below, which shall be released in favour of the informant. Let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24900 of 2015 (3) dt.16-09-2015 2 / 2 or surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Indrani Kishku, Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Patna, in connection with Shastri Nagar P. S. Case no. 317 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
