In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No.16 of 2020, registered for the offence under Sections 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) / 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

The petitioner has five criminal antecedents. In this case, about 4839.840 liters of illicit liquor has been recovered from one Truck and one Scorpio. Different paragraphs of the case diary suggests that the petitioner was involved in the trade of illegal liquor.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21819 of 2020(3) dt.19-08-2020 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in this case the petitioner is in jail since 09.03.2020. He further submits that the petitioner has already been granted bail in other five cases.

Considering the period of custody as well as entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J, 2nd -cum- Special Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai, in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No. 16 of 2020. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence before the nearest Police Station by 7th of every month for one year, failing which, the present order will be treated to have been cancelled.
