This application for grant of regular bail arise out of S.T. No. 562 of 2022 (arising out of Chakai P.S. Case No. 120 of 2022) registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per F.I.R, the marriage was solemnized between petitioner and daughter of the informant, namely, Soban Marandi about 6 years ago. It has been alleged that after some years he demanded a motorcycle from her father. Due to nonfulfillment of dowry demand of motorcycle, petitioner committed the murder of informant's daughter. The petitioner is the husband of deceased. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24093 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 allegation against the petitioner is that he has killed his wife. In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trail at the earliest.
