2. This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Andharamath P.S. Case No. 48 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)C/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.
3. Earlier, the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected by this Court vide order dated 11.02.2025passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65286 of 2024.
4. The recovery is of a huge quantity of ganja and the petitioner is in jail since 15.03.2024.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the similarly situated co-accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22981 of 2026(2) dt.30-04-2026 2/2 namely, Sakaldeo Pandit has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 10.02.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29006 of 2025.
6. Considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge NDPS Act, Madhubani in connection with Andharamath P.S. Case No. 48 of 2024.
8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail, is directed to mark his attendance at Laukahi Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
