The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 20/22 of the NPDS Act.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this court, lastly on 14.3.2019 with observation to conclude the trial positively within a period of one year. Report of the trial court dated 21.9.2021 reveals that out of 8 chargesheeted witnesses, 4 have already been examined and the case is pending for examination of remaining 4 witnesses. Petitioner is in custody since 19.1.2018.

Considering the period of incarceration of the petitioner and progress of the trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be
