JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 01-07-2020 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University. The instant writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to pay due salary from March 2020 till date. Learned counsel for the respondent Patliputra University submits that as soon as fund is received from the State Government, the petitioner would be paid salary and there shall be no discrimination in the matter of payment of salary.
Patna High Court CWJC No.6855 of 2020 dt.01-07-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the authority of the University to ensure payment of salary to the petitioner on equal footing and discrimination shall not be made in the matter of payment of salary. If the petitioner is discriminated, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to file an application before the appropriate forum.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
