2. On the matter being taken up, none appears on behalf of learned counsel for the appellant whereas learned APP for the State is present.

3. Perusal of record shows that vide email dated 30.07.2025 of Assistant Registrar, Criminal Appeal Section of this Court, a living status report of accused appellants was called for. In response thereto, Superintendent of Police, West Champaran vide letter No. 555 submitted report dated 07.08.2025, based on the information furnished by SHO,

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.474 of 2000(8) dt.09-12-2025 2/2 Majhaulia P.S. apprising this Court that appellant, namely, Birbal Sah died during the pendency of this Criminal Appeal.

4. In view of the above, the instant Criminal Appeal filed by appellant stands abated.
