Earlier the case was taken up and vide an order dated 10.02.2023, the same was allowed in Cr. Misc. No. 2224 of 2023.

The present modification petition has been filed stating that the account number of the Bihar State Bar Council has wrongly been typed and as such no payment could be made. Accordingly, the order is modified to the following extent:

"Further, irrespective of the outcome of the present case, he is ready to pay Rs.10,000/- in the Bihar State Bar Council Advocate

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28958 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 Welfare Fund, Patna"

Thus, the petitioner shall be depositing Rs. 10,000/- to the Bihar State Bar Council.

In view of the aforesaid fact as the petitioner could not surrender earlier, the period for surrender is also extended for four weeks from today.
