The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Sursand P.S. Case No.181 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 341, 323, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioners is of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners have committed no offence and have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioners are mother-in-law, brother-in-law and maternal uncle of the complainant.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22930 of 2017 (2) dt.07-06-2017 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners named above in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No.181 of 2016, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
