The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Turkauliya P.S. Case No.370 of 2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per First Information Report the daughter of the informant, Renu Kumari, had gone to the house of his elder sister, namely, Punam Devi, along with Prasad of Baba Dham where she stayed in the night and there she was killed. The present petitioner is son-in-law of the informant. Guddu Sahni, son of Birendra Sahni wanted to enter into marriage with Renu Kumari but her father was not agreeable on account of close relationship but they were putting pressure for the marriage. The dead body of victim has been found in the house of petition.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22879 of 2017 (4) dt.24-08-2017 In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected.
