JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 20-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 494, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The first information report goes to show that it was co-accused Sanjay Kumar, who took the informant's wife and so far as petitioner is concerned, only general and omnibus allegation of assault has been leveled against the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is ordered that petitioner, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of
