Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 74, 117(2)/(3)/(4), 109, 303(2), 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the allegation against him is of assaulting the cousin brother of the informant, namely Saroj Singh, by an iron rod causing injury on head. 4.

It is next submitted that petitioner is not a criminal and the injury suffered by the injured is simple in nature and the blow is not alleged to have been repeated and on account of an altercation, both sides assaulted each other and from the side of

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Indrapuri P.S. Case No. 31 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the BNSS.
