2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"I) To issue an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders or direction / directions. In the nature of certiorari by quashing the seizure list dated 3.9.2004 as contained in Annexure-6 by which the Kendo leafs loaded on a truck was seized illegally.

II) To issue an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders or direction/directions to release the Kendu Leafs and Truck bearing no.UP66/8193 seized on 3.9.2004 III) To issue an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders or direction / directions commanding the respondent authorities

Patna High Court CWJC No.14975 of 2004(4) dt.24-11-2025 2/2 declaring their action of conducting the search and seizure as illegal, inoperative and without jurisdiction.

IV) To award suitable compensation to the petitioner for the loss and damages caused to him due to illegal action of the respondent authorities"

3. By order dated 10.02.2005, the Kendu Leafs were released on deposit of Rs. 620/- per bag with the State.

4. Since the Kendu Leafs have been released pursuant to the deposit of Rs. 620/-per bag and now no one is interested in prosecuting this case, this application is dismissed.

5. The amount deposit with the State can be utilized by the State.

6. All pending Interlocutory Application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
