The petitioner is in custody in connection with Alamnagar ( Ratwara O.P.) P.S. Case No. 215 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 384, 386, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that allegation against this petitioner is that he was accompanying with Manish Mandal who fired and threatened for payment of Rangadari. He submits that petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for more than three months, and there is no specific allegation of firing or demand of Rangadari against this
