2. On the matter being taken up, Ms. Meena Singh, learned counsel for the appellant is present.

3. Perusal of record shows that vide letter dated 24.06.2025 of Assistant Registrar, Criminal Appeal Section of this Court, a living status report of accused appellant was called for. In response thereto, the Superintendent of Police, Gaya submitted a report dated 30.08.2025, based on information furnished by S.H.O., Buniyadganj P.S. apprising this Court that appellant, namely, Ashok Driver @ Ashok Sao died during the pendency of this Appeal.

4. In view of the above, the instant Criminal Appeal filed by appellant stands abated.
