2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 427, 434, 341 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act registered in connection with Goh P.S. Case No. 37 of 2012.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely on the confessional statement of co-accused Mrituanjay Mishra. There is no specific accusation against the petitioner. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.
4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of offence alleged and considering, however, that the first information report has been instituted as far back as in the year 2012 and the petitioner has not explained the delay, and as such, there is no immediate apprehension of his arrest, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
