JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-01-2020 The petitioner has approached this Court on account of delay in her selection for grant of license under the PDS scheme on the ground that her academic qualification is that of Moulvi under Bihar State Madarsa Education Board, Patna, which even though is equivalent to intermediate but the decision has been deferred, awaiting the directions from the department.

The list of applicants for consideration which has been produced for the inspection of this Court

Patna High Court CWJC No.8103 of 2019(2) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 clearly reveals the aforestated facts.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a detailed representation before the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman of the Selection Committee, Bhagalpur within a period of one week, who, on receipt of such representation shall have the necessary directions from the department viz. whether the qualification of Moulvi is to be treated at par with intermediate, making the petitioner eligible for being selected for grant of license under PDS scheme. Such decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks of the receipt of the representation of the petitioner and the outcome of the decision shall be made known to the petitioner forthwith.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
