JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 01-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under various sections of the Arms Act. The learned Sessions Judge, Lakhisarai has reported that trial of the petitioner is pending for recording the defence evidence. However, learned Sessions Judge has sought two months time for disposal of Sessions Trial No. 92 of 2016 arising out of Jamalpur Rail P.S. Case No. 23 of 2015. Considering the present stage of the case as well as nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, again, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Hence, his prayer for bail in connection with above stated case stands rejected.
