1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That, this petition is for setting aside the order passed by learned District & Sessions Judge, Siwan on 06.01.2023 in Order No. 10A/2023 imposing punishment to held up one increment without cumulative effect, shall not be posted as Administrative Officer/ Shriestedar in any office in future at least for 2 years, his conduct shall be watched for 2 years and conduct report shall be called on every six months from the Presiding Officer under whom he shall be posted with indication for entry of said facts in Service Book without appreciating

Patna High Court CWJC No.5734 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 and considering his reply submitted showing bonafide and in absence of providing reasonable opportunity of hearing which are basic and elementary law and the further prayer for restoration of his position/ status as it was on or before adverse order and for other necessary relief/ relief's on the basis of facts and circumstances of the case as stated, enumerated and discussed hereinafter."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the appellate authority to dispose off the appeal, filed by the petitioner on 04.02.2023, against the order of punishment dated 06.01.2023, passed by the District and Sessions Judge, Siwan.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the aforesaid appeal would definitely be disposed off, within a period of eight weeks from today.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid stand of the Ld. Counsel for the respondents, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition.
