Petitioner is in custody in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 111 of 2020 for the offence under sections 399, 402, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in loot of Utkarsh Small Finance Bank and from this possession one loaded country made pistol with live cartridge and one scooty were recovered.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.2.2020. Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal

No.22478 of 2020(2) dt.25-08-2020 2/2 antecedent and he is in custody since 22.2.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st, West Muzaffarpur, in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 111 of 2020 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner shall render his service as volunteer in dedicated Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month. He is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
